At its meeting held at the CAF Headquarters
in Cairo, Egypt on 27th April, 2014, the Disciplinary Panel of the
Confederation of African Football considered all documents concerning
the comments of the Vice- President of RAJA Casablanca, Mustapha
Dahnane, about CAF.
After the return match between AC Horoya and RAJA Casablanca in the
Orange CAF Champions League, Mustapha Dahnane accused CAF and its
officials, clearly saying that the club AC Horoya "bought" CAF officials
but proffered no evidence.
Based on the CAF Disciplinary Code section 82, 98 and 146, the
Disciplinary Panel of CAF decided to impose the following sanctions on
the Vice-President of RAJA, Mustapha Dahnane:
Suspension from any football related activity at the continental
level for a period of one (1)
year, and this suspension will be subject
to extension at the international level and a fine of US$30,000.
